Abstract
The ADiNA Project is an AI-driven virtual nursing assistant designed to support long-term care residents through natural and empathetic interactions. The team developed a system that integrates Whisper ASR for speech recognition, GPT-based response generation, and Google Cloud TTS for dynamic speech synthesis. A Unity-based digital nurse avatar brings conversations to life with emotional animations, lip-syncing, and synchronized facial and body movements.
