Indoor Multi-Degree-of-Freedom Simulated Skiing Training System

Abstract

With the Winter Olympic Games as a backdrop, the Skiing Training System has gained attention for its ability to provide training independent of environmental conditions. In this project, we developed a Unity-based virtual skiing training platform. The training scene featured pose accuracy guidance and avatar models designed in Maya. Human poses were detected and extracted using motion capture equipment and computer vision-based methods, enabling data transmission and conversion into skeletal bone positions to animate a skier avatar in Unity.
